Binary Clocks

The binary number system is a way to represent quantity that only employs two signals per digit. It makes for an interesting method of encoding time, because each digit can be represented by any actuator with two states. In this work, using light to express binary on/off states is explored. The time can be determined based on the arrangements of activated lights.
